This year has been remarkable for Abeiku Aggrey Santana, also known as Mr. Tourism. He participated as a guest panelist at the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum in Namibia, discussing the role of Creative Arts, Music Events, and Festivals in driving MICE tourism. Partnering with the Pan Africa Arts Society in London, he helped host the successful Kavod 2024 Comedy and Music Show and brought the Party in the Park experience to London.
In Tanzania, Abeiku collaborated with Experiential Travel Africa on a tour for the African American community, and in Ghana, he co-launched The Association of Tourist Attractions and Sites Ghana, where he serves as founding partner and Deputy Executive Director.
He also provided ground handling services for Mastercard and AirBnB’s team in Ghana and was invited to the UN Tourism for Africa and America Summit in the Dominican Republic. Most recently, he attended the Swahili International Tourism Expo. Abeiku was recognized as one of the Top Africa Travel 100 Global Leaders 2024 in Lagos, Nigeria—a testament to his dedication to promoting tourism across Africa and beyond.
